Andy Lee   My cycling accident in 1994 radically changed my life.  Hopefully this website  will assist others in understanding the nature of spinal cord injury (SCI). 


Back 2 Sports   October of 1997, Tom Hernon  were riding in northern Michigan and had an accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He spent the next year in the hospital and rehab. After he was independent, he started teaching kayaking and learned to race a mono ski. He started this company to help people with spinal injuries get "Back 2 Sports". He build, repair and sell all kinds of adaptive toys.

David Heim   David Heim lives in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In September 1995, he had an accident and sustained a spinal cord injury. After several months of rehabilitation, he started working again driving his power wheelchair six miles back and from his place of employment. In December 1998, he acquired his adapted van and started to recycle wheelchairs from February 1999. The Wheelchair Recycler’s mission is to provide any means necessary to mobilize those in need. When you first hear the words "GridIron Heroes" a picture of football's greatest players is most likely the very first image that appears in your mind. What if you were told that there is a group of young men who will never have the opportunity of playing football again? In fact, these young men are struggling to merely survive the day to day challenges they face in having to live with a Spinal Cord Injury.
